Here's an excellent idea, if we can get Hudu syncing Datto RMM using Datto’s Global Device Filters, since these are fully customizable by users. Currently, Hudu only allows sorting assets into the four default Datto RMM types (Server, Desktop, Laptop, ESXi Host). As shown in the first screenshot, Datto RMM provides Global Device Filters that let us organize devices in a more flexible way (for example, filtering by manufacturer, model, or other attributes). In contrast, the second screenshot shows that Hudu’s current configuration limits asset categorization to just the four default types. Our request is to have Hudu support Datto’s Global Device Filters as an alternative to the existing four default types, so that asset management in Hudu can align more closely with the customized filters we already use in Datto RMM.
