The Hudu Browser Extension already allows limited editing during the screenshot capture process (e.g., blur and zoom). However, once the screenshot is saved into a KB article or Process, it can no longer be edited. Additionally, images that were not created via the Hudu Extension cannot be edited at all. Request Please add native, post‑upload image editing capabilities directly inside: Knowledge Base Articles Processes / SOPs Any image inserted into Hudu (regardless of whether it was captured via the extension) Requested Editing Features: Crop Tool Trim unnecessary parts of an image after it has been uploaded or inserted. Blur / Redact Tool (post-upload) While the extension allows blurring during capture, this is not possible after the image is saved in Hudu. Ability to blur or redact sensitive info later would avoid recapturing the entire image. Annotation Tools Add circles, rectangles, arrows, highlights, and text labels after the image is in the KB/Process. Move / Edit Mouse Click Indicator (Focus Ring) When the extension places a click indicator, its position cannot be corrected later. Ability to move, remove, or add new indicators after saving. Support for Editing Non-Hudu Images Allow editing of images uploaded manually (e.g., from Snagit, system screenshots, client-provided images). Screenshots often need corrections after they are inserted into a KB or SOP. Editors frequently realize too late that sensitive information was not blurred. Repeating the capture process wastes time and interrupts workflow. MSPs handle sensitive data and need an efficient way to redact visuals directly in Hudu. Enables documentation teams to maintain high-quality, consistent visuals. This feature would eliminate unnecessary external tools and significantly speed up: KB and SOP creation Documentation updates Onboarding materials Client-facing guides Security‑compliant redaction workflows It would also make Hudu more competitive with specialized documentation tools (e.g., Snagit Editor, Scribe, Tango).
