In the current Intune integration, all enrolled devices — both computers and mobile devices — are synchronized into the same asset category within Hudu.

This causes confusion and reduces clarity, especially since Hudu already supports separate categories for Computers and Mobile Devices.

We would like to see the existing Intune integration automatically classify devices by type when synchronizing data.

For example:

• Windows and macOS endpoints → categorized under Computers

• iOS and Android endpoints → categorized under Mobile Devices

This change would not require separate syncs or additional configuration — only that the integration intelligently places each device into the correct asset type based on its Intune-reported platform or device category.

Such classification would greatly improve organization, visibility, and reporting accuracy in multi-device environments, and ensure that Intune-managed assets appear in the appropriate Hudu sections automatically.

In short, we’re requesting that the Intune integration automatically separates mobile and computer devices into their respective Hudu asset types, maintaining a cleaner and more accurate representation of managed environments.
