Passkey Support

Implementing support for storing FIDO2 Passkeys in Hudu where they can be used through the web extension or similar to login to passkey enabled services.
We have requirements for some clients to have FIDO2 or other phishing resistant authentication, but the only way we can do that now is through a separate password manager like Keeper or 1Password.

Threw in another upvote. We currently have to have client accounts split between Hudu and Keeper depending on who actively has passkeys configured.

Another upvote for this, it is widely known to be the best practice in mfa, putting client's creds into Hudu without the maximum level of security is a risk that is hard to justify when so many other credential management systems have this available.

Upvote for this. We are currently limited to TOTP for privileged accounts which is not strong enough. We have to use Keeper to accomplish this.

Please note that this feature request is for the ability to create and store passkeys in Hudu, not to log into Hudu with a passkey.

Kristen W.is there a separate one for the separate use case of supporting Hudu sign-in using passkey?
Kristen W.
Remaining Lobster: There actually is not one at the moment. There is a chance that is due to people upvoting this one.

Passkey support in password manager

I would like to have passkey support in the password manager. This feature would enhance security and convenience by allowing users to use passkeys instead of traditional passwords. Implementing this feature would align with modern security practices and improve user experience.

This should be a top priority on the roadmap!!

I am very surprised this does not exist yet in Hudu. This needs to be given priority!

Passkeys are coming fast. Microsoft is now pushing Microsoft-Managed Conditional Access policies that require phishing-resistant multifactor authentication for admins. This will require us to use another password manager to store those credentials. Don't want to have to do that.

With Entra now supporting synced passkeys it's critical Hudu add this capability - this would be a significant security stance improvement for break-glass and internal accounts. Without passkey support we'll need to move to another password provider for these credentials.
