Sounds Great, would also love to see the secure and identity scores come across to Hudu for each customer.

Just an FYI for anyone following this. We do this now using the CIPP integration. Works great, does everything we need it to.

Sal
Matt Powell we do so as well.

Really surprised this hasn't been developed yet! 😮

The Hudu Team: Hi Team,
All Documentation tool had this feature for years, any reason to get this implemented please?
Another idea perhaps, maybe save your time implementing a new feature and just pull the data from CIPP just like NInja and Datto have done and then you wouldn't need to create or manage any integration and a much easier integration too?

Any timeline on this feature. Its badly needed. Setting up each client individually is painful.

Would also really want this before we jump ship from ITG to Hudu.

Corey DeGrandchamp: hi check out Luke Whitelock’s script https://mspp.io/hudu-microsoft-365-integration-and-updated-magic-dash-v3/
He Also have alot different scripts for hudu that works great! Through API

I like this, but my concern is that we end up with duplicate "users" in Hudu. We are pulling contact data from Autotask already, what will prevent duplication?
W
William H.
Luke P.: It matches based on email address... The feature you are already talking about works perfectly - we have manages and MS365 in to Hudu.
The issue is that right now, Hudu requires manual setup in each tenant... this idea is about using the admin/reseller delegation to set it up once in the partner account and automatically access child accounts so the setup isn't needed.

Luke P.
William H.: Nice, I'm avoiding setting up presently due to the limitation you address, but it is great to know that there is some logic to prevent duplication!
W
William H.
Luke P.: Yep :) Basically, integrations add a "card", and, they use a common field to identify multiple assets... I'm far from an expert, but, I suggest you read this - https://support.usehudu.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043839714-How-Hudu-pulls-in-information-from-integrations - hopefully it will give you a kick start.
Try it with one client... If you get multiple assets, something has gone very wrong - but don't worry, it's easy to undo!

We are CSP Tier 1 and despite telling people to remove our delegated administration so we are just a CSP, we still have access to many tenants that we do not administer.
Can I please ask and make sure as this is planned that nothing should be automatic... Ideally it should be able to enumerate the entire list of companies but only selectively set up access to ones that we specifically select.

with hundreds of customers is really very annoying and time-consuming to assign the permissions for API access. An MPN-CSP integration can be very useful.
M
Michael S.
Yannic R.: I don't think it's
that
time consuming to do this for a new customer during the onboarding process. It takes me about 3 minutes to go to my partner portal, click AzureAD under the customer, add the permissions, and have it completely set up and doing the first sync. After this is done, it doesn't have go be done again.D
Doug H.
Michael S.: I have a script that does it for me. Just need the Global Admin user details, and it does it all for me, and comes back with the codes.
M
Michael S.
Doug H.: That’s really convenient. I need to look into this.
D
Doug H.
Michael S.: Let me know if you want the script to play with
A
Austin Lerner
Doug H.: Can I check out that script please?
M
Mendy G.
Doug H.: Can you post a link to that script? Maybe on MSPGeek if you don't have it already somewhere?
Doug Hall
Please make sure you check and test. I'm not responsible for this..

Doug Hall: Nice one, tried it today and it didnt create the API permissions needed or securitykey, do you know why?
Also not sure what Id, principalId and ResourceId is supposed to be?
