It would be helpful to have the ability to create field templates that can be reused across different asset layouts. This would eliminate the need to manually recreate fields that share the same name and hint text.

One idea is to include a checkbox when creating a field to "Save as Template"—this would then add the field to a list of reusable field types that can be easily selected and added to other asset layouts.
