It would be very helpful if we could email expirations. It would be best if we could have a variable for the number of days prior to the expiration when the email is to be sent.

This is currently possible by utilizing the Admin >> Alerts feature. You can also configure these with a set number of 'trigger days'

When software is close to expiry, set email notifications to remind to renew.

I think this would be useful if we could set on the asset how many days before the expiry to e-mail. We have some items that require 60 or 90 days notice and we'd want to take these extended notice periods in to account.

Can't you already do this in Admin -> Alerts?
