Recurring task notifications tied directly to Hudu process flows would be extremely valuable for IT technicians. Many IT responsibilities are not one-time tasks; they happen monthly, quarterly, annually, or on specific dates. Examples include reviewing backups, rotating credentials, auditing user access, testing failover processes, updating documentation, renewing vendor items, or completing routine client maintenance.

Hudu already provides a helpful workflow around SSL certificate expiration notifications, where an email alert brings attention to something that needs action. It would be great to have similar functionality for recurring operational tasks. Ideally, a technician could receive an email reminder for a scheduled task and click directly into the related Hudu process or procedure that needs to be completed.

This would help ensure important recurring work does not get missed, especially across multiple clients and environments. It would also reduce reliance on external ticketing reminders, calendar events, or manual tracking systems. Having the notification, task context, and process documentation all connected inside Hudu would make it easier for technicians to follow the correct steps consistently and maintain accountability.

For MSPs and internal IT teams, this would improve standardization, reduce human error, and help keep recurring maintenance work visible and actionable.
