dont show archived assets in related assets

A filter would be ideal, but in the absence of a filter, I'd rather not see an archived related item than have it show up in the list. It makes the related items list unusable in many situations.

Any movement on this? I keep running into assets that my team are selecting that are archived assets. They tell me, 'how would we know'? I agree with them, this is a major oversight in the inline asset linking function that was added to Hudu. If a linked Asset becomes archived, leave it linked, that is fine, just do not list archived assets as options to select.

If you archive an item, then it should disappear from active items that it was related to. For example, the WAN connection has been changed to a new vendor, but the "old" entry is related to the main location. When you archive the "old" WAN info then it should remove itself from the locations related items field. Currently it will still show up unless you go under the archived item and unrelate it.

Agreed! But to add more to this, unrelating is not an ideal solution because if we unarchive the relations are gone.
