It would be useful for certain workflows to allow default values to be set for fields when creating asset layouts; particularly for the Rich Text field type.

For example, since tables can be created in Rich Text fields, instead of manually adding the same table to every asset, you could set a default value for the field so each new asset in that layout starts with the table pre-populated.

This functionality could also work well with other field types, such as Embed or Copyable Text.
