Feature request:
Allow users to define custom matching criteria for integration assets and manually created assets in Hudu.
Problem:
Currently, asset matching is limited to either:
  1. Matching on Asset Name when “Match assets on primary serial” is disabled
  2. Matching on Primary Serial Number & Asset Name between integration assets when that setting is enabled - this does not include manually created Assets
  3. There is no way to choose alternative matching fields or support flexible matching between manual and integration assets.
Proposed Functionality:
  1. Add the ability to configure matching logic per Asset Layout or integration.
  2. Allow selection of which custom field(s) (e.g., Asset Name, Serial Number, MAC address, etc.) should be used for matching.
  3. Support distinct matching rules for manually created assets and integration-synced assets.
Benefits:
  1. More flexibility for teams with mixed manual and automated asset creation
  2. Avoids unnecessary duplicates due to rigid matching criteria
  3. Supports diverse use cases (e.g., telecom, multi-site MSPs, hybrid systems)
Example Use Case:
A team creates assets manually and also syncs assets from Auvik and Meraki. They want to match assets based on a MAC address or custom identifier field, and not by only name and serial.
