I have a global process for new customer onboarding, I would like a notes section to keep track of all of updates as I work through. Notes for each task would work as well. A simpler solution could be adding a notes tab under "related Items".

When I attach a process to a specific Asset, I'd like the ability to comment on the task. For instance we have an Hiring Onboarding Process that is similar to a questionnaire, I'd like to add the answers to those tasks, but without having to Edit each task, especially since the saving from Edit can be hit and miss. Having to save often and then going back into Edit, scrolling down to the task I left off and then adding the new notes and then saving, going back into edit, scrolling down to the next task, adding the additional notes, saving, edit, scrolling down....well you get the idea, it really becomes cumbersome. :)

There is no way to add a comment unless you complete it. If you have to stop or have a road block you cannot update it with your notes and there is no way to know where you left off or why the task is not completed yet. This makes using the process unreliable, as people with complete it prematurely

I do see that there is a general comment section for the whole process, which is only 160 characters, my request still stands, for a per task comment option.

Agreed. Would be beneficial to add notes to a task completion giving some kind of input related to the task. e.g. - Task says to install some software, but the end user doesn't need it, tech adds a note that says item was skipped but marking task as done.
