You have web links for asset layouts, but what about email fields? Similar to phone fields and web links but specifically for email addresses so that you can click on them and have them open your default email client.

Agree, this is required, tried mailto:, only option was to add Rich Text, which is not ideal, surprised this is not got much rating!
